epic charcuterie board

Wow everyone this holiday season with this fancy, yet effortless, charcuterie arrangement for the holidays.

Celebrating by yourself? Even better. This charcuterie board will pair perfectly with your glass of red and rom-com binges. The best thing about charcuterie boards is that the variations are endless. You make it the way you like it.

Equipment

  • Board of your choice
  • Saucers

Ingredients

  • Vegan Ham/Deli Slices
  • Vegan Hard Cheese
  • Vegan Soft Matured Cheese
  • Grapes
  • Raspberries
  • Carrot Sticks
  • Cucumber Sticks
  • Hummus or any dip of your choice
  • Pecans
  • Almonds

First start with an empty board. This can be the wooden cutting board, a marble/charcoal slab (if you’re feeling fancy), or even a serving tray.

Beautify your arrangement

All things said, creating this is fun and shouldn’t be stressful, it just needs a little effort and thought to build your perfect charcuterie board.

Base - There’s no charcuterie without your deli slices and cheeses. Tofurky offers a variety of slices such as these peppered bad boys.

Cheese - Cream, cultured, we have everything ready for your picking. Who says vegans can't have it all?

Carbs - Choose bread or crackers of your choice. You can think of ways to go low-carb with carrot sticks, if you want.

Fruits & Veggies - Get a variety of colors that can balance the neutral/brown tones of your cheeses and hams. Such as bright reds (raspberry, cranberries, tomatoes) and greens (like rosemary, cucumber, green apple).

Spread out the colors to nail the composition.

Instructions:

Start from any edge with crackers and slices of toasted bread. Space them out. Add fresh fruits and nuts by a handful.

Fill in the gaps with any remaining fresh fruit or nuts.

Place all dips into small bowls.

Fold the deli slices into quadrants to plate.

Add garnish and serve immediately — you don’t want the bread to go dry.
