Tis' the season of giving; while many of us have settled on giving gifts, helping others is equally important. This year, four of our partner sanctuaries are raising funds to support their operations. Whether it's providing facilities for animal care, covering feed or vet expenses — your efforts will contribute to supporting and rescuing more animals.

Santuário Vale da Rainha

Founded by the duo Patricia Varela and Vitor Favano, Santuario Vale de Rainha provides a home to hundreds of animals. Their mission is to bring awareness on animal rights and rescue them from mistreatment and abandonment.

This Christmas, you can support their work by signing up to be part of their Ashram, a digital community to support the sanctuary and get inspired by their residents' rescue stories through their programs. Members will receive a bonanza of benefits, from vegan ebooks, discounts on vegan brands (food and products), sanctuary visits, and meeting the chosen animal family. The cost can vary between US $5 to 30 per month.

All sales from the Ashram will go towards operational costs, including animal feed, treatment, building maintenance and management, hospital bills, and rescue operations. The sanctuary also hopes to raise funds for several of its ongoing projects in 2022. Some of these include building new stalls, finalizing the second phase of the hospital construction, running an internship program, vets, and practitioners to treat animals, and sharing their work with volunteer groups to show how animals get rehabilitated, strengthen their animal advocacy (for vegans) and inspire non-vegans to treat animals with care.

Little Buckets Farm Sanctuary

Little Buckets Farm Sanctuary is a 31-acre farm in Brodnax, Virginia. Their t-shirts retail at US $23.99, and sweatshirts for US $37.99 while the calendar costs US $24.99 and includes their resident's birthdays. The funds for the holiday sales will cover their general expenses like bedding, feed and hay supplements, and veterinary care.

The Riley Farm Rescue

The Riley Farm Rescue's mission is to rescue animals from suffering by providing them with an environment they deserve through rehabilitation and long-term care. Founded by Maria Riley in Connecticut, the sanctuary aims to bring awareness to neglect and animal cruelty through activities, special events, and following a vegan lifestyle.

Want some merch? Riley Farm has several options. Choose from a range of items, from apparel, accessories, Christmas ornaments to even some of their newest items like pop-sockets, metal straws, and a beanie. All their clothing items have the logo of the sanctuary. The money raised from the sales will support animal care expenses and vet fees.
