This came as a set for $42, with one big gua bao and 3 taro

sweet potato balls. I like the big gua bao (the bun) but the king oyster mushroom was quite hard to bite into, maybe they were a bit overcooked, sliced too thickly or too mature?

Before I turned vegan, I tried their meat gua baos and those were quite good so I guess my expectations for my favourite mushrooms were too high?

The deep-fried taro sweet potato balls were fried to perfection, crispy outside, chewy and soft inside. Not too sweet and a good blend of taro and sweet potato paste.

Their golden taro balls have salty egg, actually the words 黃金 (golden) pretty much always means it has salty egg, at least in Hong Kong.

They have other vegan snacks, like curry puffs, deep-fried king oyster mushroom and plum flavoured sweet potato sticks.
