Hey vegans, I have a confession to make 👋 I’m one of those embarrassing plant-based

eaters that actually has a protein deficiency problem. I don’t like most proteins, I don’t go out of my way to get them, and since moving to Singapore I have cut down a lot on the #fakemeat I used to eat for reviews; It just isn’t as fun cooking here either! The proteins I actually enjoy, beans 🫘, however take a long time to prepare that takes up precious kitchen real estate in a shared apartment and the canned ones aren’t cheap (or healthy) either. So come to me having weeks of terrible sleep and headaches until I finally heeded to @m1tch9i’s and @waterlily’s advice to up my protein intake and.. voila! I had my first actual night of good sleep 🤯 Apparently your brain and body needs #protein to grow or something like that? What is this nonsense?! So.. on Friday after having been abandoned by my colleagues for lunch 😤 I decided I’d treat myself to some amazing #veganchicken at Love Handle Burgers 🍔 The #friedchicken is a new item on their menu that features mock meat by TiNDLE but marinated and battered with some house magic ✨ You can tell quite clearly from the third photo that it is! The #chicken is then wrapped in what appears to be #fuchuk / #beancurdskin and battered in some of the most delicious batter in the observable.. sorry, tastable, universe 🪐 Served with #kimchi and some.. sauce thingy? at some..? dollar price? Sorry, my brain is still recovering ❤️‍🩹 Looking back at this meal it does explain why I’ve had a 3D rotating jar of kimchi floating in my head all weekend though. My stupidity aside, I think this is probably the most worth it meal I’ve had here and the absolute best vegan fried chicken I’ve ever had! Actually, second but shh 🤫 If you loved your wife you’d bring her here. Even if you hated your wife, you’d bring here too cause this #sweetdreamsaremadeofgrease meal is one of the greatest things to have ever clogged my arteries 🫀#bestpicks #veganisnotscary

Hands down, five stars 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌 The #friedchicken was the right amount of #greasy, with just

enough spice complementing a texture that's as akin to the real bird as I can remember having sampled anywhere ☺️ The sauce was creamy, rich, and tasty, and I don't even know what it was because this wasn't my order 😅 I would absolutely #drool my way here for this again, #sweetdreamsaremadeofgrease 😊🤤 Honourable mention to the side of #kimchi though 👍

This buttermilk fried ‘chicken breast’ was subpar. The fried ‘skin’ was perfectly seasoned and crispy,

while the ‘chicken’ itself encompasses the tenderness and succulence of real meat. I am also in love with the gochujang mayo that came along with it — it was slightly spicy with a lightly tart and creamy flavour. Served with a small side of kimchi and scallion toppings. This is something you can’t miss on their menu!

Crispy skin, which somehow had a bitter aftertaste. The meat was dense and very filling.

Sauce and kimchi was a bit too sour and spicy for me.

Wow.. the fried chicken is amazing~~~ love love love it~ the sauce is fantabulous and

the kimchi~ honestly didn’t expect them to be this good!! Hopefully this remains in the menu in their new location. 🌱🤍

Tastes and smells like fried chicken. I love the breading of the chicken.

Finally vfc in Singapore but didn't feel it's up to standard. Had nice crispy texture

but lacked flavor
