I wish I could only say positive things about this
#greek plate, because most of it was good and it was nicely presented. It was spinach #rice, which was good, a good green #salad with #avocado and vegan #tzatziki sauce, and your choice of protein. I could choose between falafel and this “veggie balls” but since I had already tried the falafel here, I chose the veggie balls, and unfortunately they were not good :(
They had a weird flavor, I don’t know if it was a spice they put or one of the veggies in them, I just don’t know but I didn’t enjoy them, to me they did not taste very good. They were edible but I would not order them again. Texture wasn’t great either, just like soft and mushy, I thought they were gonna be more like crunchy.
Overall for the amount of food, it was good value, it was around $9,50. The restaurant is actually very #veganfriendly, they have several other choices, I just chose the wrong one haha. I had tried their falafel wrap and it was great!! I would give it another chance for sure. These veggie balls were just weird. The place is located in one of our most famous and crowded beach towns, so there are a lot of tourists looking for vegan options, there are plenty over there now, which is great :)
