Neue Taverne is impressive on so many levels - I only wish they went full
vegan since they execute it so well.
The restaurant itself has such a lovely swiss atmosphere with wooden seating and walls inside, and they change up the menu all the time. The downside really is that you love one dish and when you go back it’s not on the menu anymore.
The caviar pictured is usually available only on the dinner menu and vegetarian with an egg (?) but you can request it vegan. Crunchy pearls of caviar of the field, finely minced scallions above a layer of cream.
The blinis are lovely too and fresh.
