On Tuesdays, Panarottis has an R89.99 special on their classic pizzas and pastas - before
ordering, I already assumed that this special definitely does not apply to the vegan menu, because we’ve all seen how restaurants love to increase the price of anything labelled vegan or vegetarian 🙃 It was the absolute best surprise when the bill arrived and my vegan pizza (normally R146.90) was R89.99 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Honestly, this goes a long way - I’ve loved Panarottis ever since they first introduced vegan options, but the fact that they go against the norm, and allow us the same discount as non-vegans, is fantastic. Panarottis absolutely has my support. Thank you for creating a space where vegans and non-vegans can come together, enjoy a flippen fantastic meal, and no one feels left out or different 🙏🏻 “Big on family, big on pizza” is not just a cute catchphrase.
Now, the actual review of the pizza: super delicious - very, very creamy. Loved the mushrooms. Topped it with some course salt and pepper, a ton of garlic and a bit of the chillies. Definitely one of the messier pizzas, but it’s so worth it. Such a decent size pizza with a good amount of toppings and a scrumptious base.
100% recommend - I will be getting it again 🍕
