Dehydrated Rice Vermicelli is a wonderful and versatile product!!
Its easy to make.....just soak it in warm water or some warm vegetable stock if you want to add that extra flavour. Its really tasty in stuffed vegetable rice paper wraps. It can be used in soups and salads or if you would like to add some noodles to your dish. This is a great way to do so. There is loads of recipes online that calls for these noodles, and its low in calories( not that i count calories). Its gluten free for those who are gluten sensitive. There is not much nutrition in it, it also takes on the flavour of the spice of seasoning that you add to it. This i bought at the Chinese mall in Port Elizabeth. As for the elephant in the room, yes its a 3kg pack that i got for R100. Which is cheap in my books, if you spend about R30 tp R40 on small packs of pasta or noodles. Then this is dirt cheap for the size of the bag. It also last a long time, due to it being dehydrated rice noodles. #veganisnotscary 💚
