I usually always keep this kind of prepackaged Rösti in the pantry, but normally I
get them from Migros, this time I tried the Coop version, which I have to say it’s pretty good!
They’re super easy to prepare: you just need to cook them in a pan for a good 15 minutes (if you want them nicely cooked with a little bit of crunchiness), no added fats are required.
They were also pretty cheap too, a package of 3 for 5 chf (although I think it was a special deal).
Nutritionally it’s potatoes 🥔 so the same nutritional values you’d expect from potatoes, a lot of carbs and some fats. Maybe the salt is a little high, because it has been added to give the final dish the right flavor. So make sure not to add any more.
