These look and smell just like beef but there was something a bit off about
the texture. I was hoping the pieces would be more chewy but they were quite soft. I bought this to have with black bean sauce, rice and veg. Normally I buy oumph but this was cheaper. I think I prefer oumph.

I made these no-beef style pieces with udon noodles and sweet chilli… I won’t lie,
it made me feel quite sicky because my mind genuinely thought I was eating beef, not so much the taste but the texture. I’m wondering if anyone else feels the same as me? 🤔 I think I would enjoy it after getting used to it since I haven’t eaten beef in so so long!

Mother Fruitbear claims that this was tastier before she put it in the stew. Pretty
grim in the stew but I imagine if it was fried and put in something more tastier than it'd be bloody lovely.
We went for a four in the end cause we do think it will be really nice done differently !
