I was surprised by this! Great flavor and melts nicely.
These cheddar shreds are pretty good, not great. Had a nice cheddar flavor.
Economic option when you want some shreds for a pasta, or melted on a sandwich. Best eaten cooked or melted, not cold, like so many other vegan cheeze. I found these at Aldi for $3.99.
I decided to try and make Mac and cheese with it the other day. It actually melted pretty well, but just took a while to do so. I definitely upgraded the flavor with a decent amount of soy milk, butter, onion powder, & garlic powder. It also wasn’t grainy, which I liked. Overall it’s very similar to Daiya, if you’ve had that. I’ll buy it again when I’m at Aldi, because it melts nicely, tasted good and the price is great.

Aldi's started selling this brand as basically it's only vegan brand of foods. That's ok
but doesn't leave much room for all those pioneer brands who proved the market. Generally these private labeled brands are just the same manufacturers.
The Earth Grown shreds are never really shreds…. More like crumbles. I guess it’s fine,
since that discourages my husband from grabbing a pinch to eat. More ends up in the dinner.
