Huge fan of seitan. Marinates well, texture is great, and gets nice and crispy when
fried right. There are other brands that are great, but if this is all you see, it’s worth it. Pretty tasty.
Of course I think vegan brands should be subsidized like the dead flesh that people eat (only reason it’s “affordable”, our taxes pay for the animal abuse and mutilation. Nothing cheap about slaughter houses, and all the chemicals they pump these living beings with to stuff their pockets with more greed), so I think that value can always be better and cheaper so that more people would be tempted to switch over from animal products. Where I live, I round it up to $5 when not on sale. For a single person, without over eating, you can make 3-4 meals out of it. #SubsidizeVeganBrands
