It’s ok for now. It doesn’t clean my mouth very well. Every time
I spit my toothpaste out my saliva is brown… even in the mornings. When using toothpaste that would rarely happen. I tried using two at once and it didn’t make that much of a difference so I went back to one as it’s REALLY expensive. It also doesn’t lather very well. I know that doesn’t really mean anything for cleaning, but it just feels like I’m brushing my teeth with my saliva. It’s super pricy so I usually get them when they’re on sale. If anyone knows of a cheaper, better, and plastic free toothpaste please lmk.

It is leaping bunny certified to be free of animal testing. I can’t find much about the human rights of their ingredient sourcing. Their website says “responsibly sourced ingredients” so I’ll give em the benefit of the doubt I guess.

🔊Hard-to-recycle Hello products are recyclable for FREE through Terracycle
♻️packaged in a metal container with a small sticker to keep it shut during transport (idk what the sticker is but it says plastic free). Instead of the usually plastic seal, it has a cotton ball inside to keep it fresh. It does have a small pack of silica gel inside to keep moisture out.
•Aluminum tin can be reused or easily recycled
•Cotton ball can be composted, spun into yarn, used to make dryer balls, used as mulch, used to keep dry foods fresh, stuffed into pillows or wrecked dog toys, used to make “snow” for Christmas decor, and much more.
•Silica gel pack can be thrown in garbage or reused to keep moisture out of things.
⚖️concerning ingredients include:
•hydrated silica ~ unknown if responsibly mined (restoration, water treatment, etc). They do say “responsibly sourced ingredients” but it would be nice to know a bit more than that.
