Chickpea Curry Filled Naan

We found this in Sainsbury’s and it’s really good! It’s a naan bread filled with

a chickpea curry sauce, pilau rice and some mango chutney (although this isn’t very prominent). The curry has a really nice warming flavour that’s not overly spicy. You can eat it hot and cold and we’ve tried it both ways because we’ve enjoyed it so much! When you have it cold the naan bread is quite doughy especially at the corners and folded edge where there isn’t any curry, but when warmed up it softens and the flavour of the bread becomes even stronger. It’s a good option to have for a packed lunch on a walk or at work/school, and it’s fairly healthy with a good amount of protein and not too much saturated fat or sugar. We found this in Sainsbury’s and it’s £2.15 but often on offer for £1.85.

This filled naan is delicious! The naan has a nice mild garlic taste to it

and is soft. The curry filling is full of flavor and proportionate to the naan. I wish it was a little cheaper but will definitely purchase this item again.
