I’m definitely going to
get this wrong but.. from what I’ve gathered, this special kind of fruit bread is traditionally eaten at Christmas time and - seemingly - around Easter, too. I *think* it’s traditionally a German thing, bit perhaps someone Dutch can correct me if it in fact originated here.
ANYWAY, the important thing to know it’s that it’s DELICIOUS 🤤 I like it best heated up in the microwave with a lick of margarine. This particular one has large sections of almond paste that really makes it a pretty decadent #sweettreat - perfect for enjoying with coffee on a rainy morning, like I am doing right now as I type 😉
