I decided to be a useful daughter and make the whole fam (5 of us)
a vegan chilli for dinner! The meat-free mince was super filling and itās packed full of protein, so itās ideal for a warm and hearty din in freezing January. Itās Ā£2 for a pack, so excellent value for the large amount you get (we still have plenty leftover for tomorrow.) Keep expanding and impressing with your plant menu things, Aldi!
How I made the chilli (super easy!):
ā¢ sweat off an onion, garlic and pepper in a wee bit oil
ā¢ add the meat-free mince to give it a wee bit colour
ā¢ add in two tins of chopped tomatoes, some mixed beans & some chilli seasoning
ā¢ let it simmer, and kind of eyeball it until itās ready
ā¢ add a handful of spinach, for some greens
ā¢serve it up with a wee sprinkle of nutritional yeast and some coriander, et voilĆ !
