Chicken-Style Pieces Flame-Grilled

Taste and texture wise this was on par with the On the green side and

Urban Vegan chicken-style replacements. I really enjoyed it but the pieces were weirdly sized and since you need to cook from frozen, it was awkward getting it into manageable pieces for my pasta dish.

Very nice chicken alternative. Cut up smaller and used for a homemade nachos. Very versatile

so will buy again.

I think this is On The Green Side under the Simple Truth brand. Good product

although I have noticed the last few times that I have bought it that it has become chewier than it was when it first launched. I’m not sure why but it was better before, more tender. Still remains one of the better chicken alternatives available.

Very convincing, imitation chicken served with a sweet and spicy sauce and mielies, along with

mash and my favorite greens! 😋
