Good flavor for unsweetened flavored yogurt but I add berries and/or granola for better flavor.

I get unsweetened to save on carbs and calories but sometimes add a small amount of maple syrup if I’m wanting more sweetness #ditchdairy #abillionlove

I love coconut dairy alternatives. This is delightful with fruit stirred in or as part

of a smoothie. It’s much cheaper to buy the large containers than the little ones. 😐 Will purchase again. #ditchdairy

This is an ok yogurt on its own but good for cooking👩🏻‍🍳 (it’s similar to

the unsweetened vanilla version I reviewed not long ago so I’m not going to repeat the specs here)
I used it on my first ever attempt to make some pita breads🥙 They’re vegan, #glutenfree and #lowcarb (a tall order lol but thanks to google🙏🏼) Happy to report, it worked🥳
I rly wasn’t sure how they would turn out since I had to make some big and small changes to the ingredients bc I didn’t have them on hand🙄, like swapping out oat fiber for psyllium husk and ditch xanthum gum for tapioca flour (only asked for 1/4 tsp anyway🤷🏻‍♀️) I figured the worst case scenario would just be me getting a bunch of super fiber-charged flatbreads🏋🏻‍♀️🫓 Wouldn’t hurt either way...
And the result was better than I had expected😛 They’re not fluffy like the wheat kind, but they do get the job done. The slight chewiness/elasticity from psyllium husk also helps to hold the shape better than the flour ones = you can stuff as much as you want without breaking the bread, which, as shown, I did without hesitancy🥒🥗🍅🧆🌿
With this obvious triumph (I’m joking), now I’m considering getting some oat fiber next time to test the difference (and not to butcher the recipe again😅).

Usually I’m very fond of coconut #yogurt, but this one was not as good as

I remembered. The flavor wasn’t bad: slightly tart and not overly coconut-y; I disliked the separated, grainy consistency, though. Stirring couldn’t save it; it took a lot of fresh berries (and later granola) to distract from the textural issues. It’s a shame that this yogurt isn’t better on its own, as it’s one of the most accessible and easy to find in supermarkets. Going forward, I’ll most likely use it for cooking or baking applications only.

I like the touch of coconut taste but not too much over power flavor

. To make my Indian dhahi base curries it works well . I mix with my home made peanut butter yogurt . Alone I like mix with fruits or salty yogurt masala . Base of 5 spices . Roasted Cumin , salt , black salt and red chili powder. . 😘
