This plant based cheese sauce is delicious. Had it over pasta. I did
have to add salt and pepper and my favourite thing to add was Nutritional Yeast. Next time I will try it over some plant based nuggets 😁

Super impressed with this sauce. Its only 21% vegan cheese and the rest is butternut,
celery, carrots and other veg. I used half a jar in a vegan white sauce for a mac n cheese and it was amazing. Actually nicer than if i used straight cheese as it wasn't so potent and obviously is a bit healthier as its 79% veggies.

I absolutely hate writing bad reviews.. to the extent that, if you scroll through my
feed, you’ll find almost exclusively stellar reviews… However..
I am truly disappointed by this product.. especially given that it has received some really good reviews here. And some not-so-good ones, which I wish I had read before I bought this.
In my opinion, it was neither creamy nor cheesy, and generally just tasted incredibly strange and unpalatable. Hubby and kids looked at me like I was trying to punish them 🙈
Always grateful for new vegan options, but this seems like exactly the kind of product that would put pre-vegans off going vegan 😣

UPDATE: didn’t want to throw the rest of the sauce away SO hubby put cannelloni tubes, a jar of tomato-and-basil pasta sauce, and the remainder of the cheese sauce on top .. baked in the oven.. albeit a bit too long (swipe right for pic) and it was actually not bad. Hubby reckons the burnt taste might be what saved it. HAHA 😂 still won’t buy again, but thanks to @marcytheresa for your suggestion to use it for something oven-baked - it was definitely a good call 👍

Honestly not for me.
Bought it on special and won't ever buy this again. The size
and price point just don't match.
I was sorely disappointed, didn't taste anything like cheese, and I actually didn't like the taste all that much. The fam said that it was good, but I think they might have just been trying to be polite.🤷🏼♀️😔

Homemade cheese sauces
far out weigh this. BUT you do have to give kudos to woolworths for trying. It's not bad at all, but it lacks that cheesy goodness. So it's good for if you in a rush, or maybe out camping, but I like cooking so I'm just gonna stick to my mac&cheese recipes that I already have. Also price is a bit much. But sometimes I buy things just to show there's demand for it even though I know I can make it myself.
