VEGAN

Tesco

Pantry Staple #3. Ready-made vegan pesto is a godsend because I can have a quick, easy and satisfying pasta fix in less than ~15 minutes!! The tofu and cashew nuts really add to the creaminess and tastes just like non-vegan pesto.

judihe Omg i can relateee, I always buy pesto in bulk when I happen to find one without cheeseReply
waisum ahh i would think vegan pesto is easily available in germany!Reply
jashment Where did you buy this??Reply
waisum @jashment think I got it from ntuc xtra (sorry I just saw this 😬)Reply
jashment @waisum which NTUC got sell this 😮 was it cheap? Reply
waisum I've gotten it from NTUCs at Jurong Point and JEM previously. They're strangely displayed together with the regular pesto/pasta sauces in the pasta isle, and not on the Tesco shelves. Can't recall the exact price but defo less than 5 bucks!Reply
herbimetal Thanks. The sauce doesn't look very thick though. Under 15 mins excludes the cutting and the boiling of pasta right? Unless my ingredients are already prepped, cooking under 15 mins is impossible for meReply
waisum The pasta I made in this photo only has canned chickpeas and sundries tomatoes so it definitely took less than 15mins to assemble, including boiling of pasta 😁Reply
herbimetal Boiling too? So fast omg 1 likeReply
