Review of Nasi Lemak at Botanist Café by gretchforveg

Personally, I would think this dish is slightly over price. The veggies (long bean, boiled kangkong, raw cucumber, fried peanuts and fried tempeh) are simple, the taste of the chilli and rice is pretty ordinary as well.

herbimetal Looks so pretty though! Blue rice and tempeh!Reply
gretchforveg @herbimetal yeah it looks quite pretty, but I think the dishes can be improved, especially when the price is on the higher end.Reply
herbimetal @gretchforveg agree. Still I would love to have a nasi lemak with lots of tempeh like this! Reply
gretchforveg @herbimetal Then you should definitely give this a try when you visit Melacca. The ambience of the restaurant is pretty actually.Reply
herbimetal @gretchforveg cool. I haven’t been to Malacca since I was a kid Reply
gretchforveg @herbimetal You should visit Melacca one day, there's a lot of veggies eateries in Melacca.Reply
