Review of Sour Creamy - LOCO Dairy-Free by kmurph1
Yuck. I loved sour cream before I was vegan, and I used to use it all the time in my cooking. So I was pumped to try this.
I guess I know now to avoid all coconut based dairy... as this reminds me of my opinion of coconut cheeses. The product melts weirdly, but most importantly the coconutty taste comes thru A LOT, not in a good way at all. This product could be ok I guess as a donut filling or other super sweet dishes. As a topping for nachos or chilli con carne - no, no, nope.

kmurph1 Naw unless it’s for desserts or specific cuisines that lend themselves to coconut (thai or Indian) i am officially anti- coconut yogurt, coconut cream, and def anti coconut oil cheese 😂 1 likeReply

kmurph1 Agree it’d be great for sweet stuff. The brand does have a dollop cream & thickened cream too which I haven’t tried. But this one is marketed as sour cream, which most ppl use with nachos, loaded fries, dolloped on curries and other savoury stuff - this really fails at than IMO!1 likeReply
skinticket08 yes totally agree. i bought this recently and was realllyyyy hoping for a good taste but know now aswell that i need to avoid coconut based dairy like cheeses and creams excluding coconut yoghurt. now i need to think of using it in cooking so it doesn't go to waste.Reply
