Review of Tu’nah Mayo Sandwich - Starbucks by charlouise

This wasn’t bad but it also wasn’t brilliant! It’s great to have as another option when your in a pinch out and about but I wouldn’t go out of my way to have it again.

The taste was ever so slightly vinegary, I’m guessing this is from the coconut milk based horseradish sauce? But it wasn’t particularly close to tuna. However the texture of the vegetarian butcher faba bean alternative was bang on!

Overall the sandwich could have done with more rocket and onion and less sauce. There were also only 2 meagre slices of very thin cucumber per slice - this suited me as I’m not the biggest fan of cucumber in sandwiches but can see it being a gripe of others! The malted bread was again fine but nothing to write home about.

The packaging also appears to produce quite a lot of waste as there is no mention of it being made out of a compostable plastic alternative.
