Review of The Chunk - Oumph! by mrowbianca
This product is really good! It has a meaty texture, it can be a good tool to help your carnivore friend transition into our meatless world.
Serving suggestion:
Round #2. Something fun. I made these crispy “chicken style” for us inspired by a TikTok video my mom @janetvanheerden sent us. We used @eat_oumph The Chunk as our “meat”.
Batter ingredients:
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup Maizina
1/2 ts baking powder
1/2 cup ice water
Coat and fry “The Chunk” in oil
Sweet and sticky coating:
150g plant butter
2 tbs dark soy sauce
4 tbs sugar
Fry in a pan until brown and simmering. Add your crispy “chicken” to the coating and enjoy.
