Review of White Crunchy Nougat - Nucao by yourlocalvegan
This is an organic chocolate bar, and this white one is made with tigernut flour and has hemp seeds and bits of hazelnut in it. It’s surprisingly tasty given that it has 65% less sugar than other similar chocolate bars. The chocolate has a nice creamy texture with lots of crunch from the nuts. I got this in Sainsbury’s on offer at £1.50 down from £2.25, so it’s pretty expensive for a 40g bar but it’s a nice sweet treat that’s a bit healthier than other options. I also really like that the packaging is home compostable and that they plant a tree for every bar bought. I definitely want to try some of their other flavours too.
