Review of Sticky Toffee Pudding at The Gate Islington by jessskh

The Gate are a restaurant advocating for veggie and plant based dining since 1989. They have a few branches in London and this one in Islington has a kind of rustic former pub vibe with high ceilings and an open kitchen.

This sticky toffee pudding was beautiful, with popcorn, honeycomb ice cream and caramel sauce. Since sticky toffee pudding is very sweet, this was an appropriate portion size if not larger than needed for one person but definitely perfect for 2 to share. This dish was £7, very fair and good value for dessert!
