Review of Apple Maple Veggie Breakfast Sausage - Hilary's by theveganfeast
I love all of Hillary's plant based burgers and sausages. They're not only delicious, but they're also made with good ingredients, such as millet, lentils, flax and hemp seeds.
This apple and maple breakfast sausage patty is no exception. I was a little worried that it might be on the sweet side, but it's not at all sweet.
The sausage patties were delicious in this Vegg breakfast sandwich, made with thinly sliced tofu sprinkled with a little bit of turmeric and Indian black salt, as well as some plant-based cheese on toasted English muffins.

theveganfeast The key is to use tofu that's not too firm. I use the "firm" tofu from Trader Joe's, but it's definitely not a very firm variety and it's a little bit jiggly, which is what you want. Silken would be too soft, so try a medium-firm one.😀1 likeReply
