Review of Wontons In A Special Sauce at Tofu vegan Spitalfields by alistar
🇨🇳 This is an all vegan 🌱Chinese restaurant chain that’s opened in Spitalfields that serves more American style Chinese food I had heard. My colleague raved about it and I’d seen endless reviews how good the food was. I think my expectations were a bit too 🌤️sky high. These wontons were the highly recommended dish by the restaurant and everyone else. I’m not sure I’ve had wontons before. There were good in a mildly spicy oily sauce full of chilli 🌶️flakes for £7.90. I’m spoiled with my Bibigo dumplings 🥟lately so maybe these weren’t so special in comparison. I also struggled to pick them up with the huge plastic chopsticks when I’m used to smaller wooden ones. 🥢 I’d like to go back here and try more dishes. #allveganrestaurant #chinesefood #veganisnotscary
