VEGAN

Alpro

#recyclable, #palmoilfree

The #chocolate version of Alpro’s protein #pudding, it is #soy based with added calcium and vitamins.

The texture is like the vanilla version, I like it a lot. It’s nicely thick, smooth and very #creamy. No points to take away from that. I wish they made a ‘regular’ dessert with this consistency.

Taste-wise, I don’t love this one either. It definitely has a decent #cocoa taste even though it isn’t super strong in flavour. Just like the vanilla version it has that noticeable ‘protein’ note to it which I do not like. The chocolate flavour doesn’t really mask it at all. It really isn’t sweet, probably even slightly less sweet than the vanilla version.

It is #palmoilfree and #glutenfree. May contain traces of nuts. The packaging does not mention recycling.

💵~22 NOK at Rema. Decently priced for something like this.

Not a product for me, but if you like #protein products it might be up your alley.
If you’re in Europe I really recommend the Valsoia chocolate pots!

helena12345 Agreed. I only bought the vanilla version and it had a very protein powder taste. I disliked it do much I won’t buy the chocolate version 1 likeReply
vanille Yeah I was hoping the chocolate one would do a better job at hiding that flavour but no luck. I find them edible but they’re definitely not good😔1 likeReply
