Review of Caramel Syrup - Borgo de Medici Cucina by veronicagroen
I was searching for a good #caramel #syrup that I could use in homemade ice cream. I found this at Yuppychef and had their suppliers confirmed that it is vegan, as it is marked as such online.
A beautiful bottle filled with a thick syrup, but the caramel flavour was a solid miss. Even if it is a #sugarfree syrup, surely caramel should taste like it. The taste was unfamiliar, so I do not even know how to describe it, I had to save my ice cream with a mix of dates and peanut butter. I will find other ways to use this bottle, in coffee or over some dessert, but I won't buy it again.
