Review of Mushroom Master Blend - OM Mushroom Superfood by dafnelately
I’ve been using this for about a year now and I have some thoughts 💭 I swear they’re not totally #mushroom induced 🤭 On that note though, that’s absolutely why I starting taking a #mushrooms supplement to begin with!
Lots of studies have found correlation between mushroom consumption & improved brain function, with some claiming that it can protect the brain from cognitive decline and improve things like memory & mental clarity 🧠 This was right around the time I was suffering from daily seizures and hadn’t yet found a #sleepaid that worked for me 😴
Mushrooms are great & if this really is all it says it is — 10 different mushroom species cultivated on #organic whole oats plus a sprinkle of #ashwagandha, it’s an amazing #supplement 🙌 …but that’s all it is & with most supplements, without being able to objectively measure the changes its making to your body is just as good as any other voodoo or rite. So I pretend this isn’t one, and take it for taste 😋
It actually does add a pleasant earthy taste to my #smoothies and with a little #proteinpowder you’d barely notice the chalkiness 👩🏫 It doesn’t hold up well in coffee though 🙅♀️ The sediments more often than not end up at the bottom of the cup by the time I’m done drinking, so I’d have to flush it with water to make sure not to waste any. It’s a pretty steep ask! This small 180g worth of product costs around S$70 on iHerb! 😱
Perhaps I’ll start adding this in my curries and waffle mixes instead 🤷♀️
