The vegan houjicha smoothie bowl cost $8.50 for regular size which was approximately 250ml. The
houjicha smoothie base was blended from houjicha powder, tofu, oat milk, and coconut milk, and was naturally sweetened with medjool dates. This resulted in a thick creamy soft serve which was not icy at all, and it had a robust roasted aroma. The smoothie bowl came topped with a choice of chocolate or peanut butter drizzle (I opted for the former), banana slices, plump blueberries, coconut chia pudding, as well as caramelised buckinis - protein-packed buckwheat seeds which were crunchy and slightly nutty in taste. This smoothie bowl was certainly a refreshing and enjoyable frozen treat after a walk through the Singapore Botanic Gardens!
