A combination of tempura eggplant, bell peppers, zucchini, carrot, yellow onion, garlic aioli, and sweet
shoyu that results in a unique and exciting flavor, which can be expected of many of Tane's rolls! Only 2 of the rolls had the fancy tempura topping, but the other rolls still had them inside, and we could still taste the crunch, even though we didn't have them until almost an hour later. I enjoyed 1 leftover several hours later that evening. The crunch was gone, but was still delicious nonetheless. With that said, since they're only doing take-out these days with this pandemic, it's advisable to enjoy these as soon as you can to experience the flavor and texture at their best.
