By far the best red #mojopicon and green #mojoverde I have ever tasted in 8

years of visiting and living in the Canary Islands. The red version is made with dried red peppers providing a smoky, slightly spicy flavor and the green with its base of #cilantro, provides a fresh garden-like contrast. The mojos and bread are on the menu separately, and priced at 0,50€ per person for the bread (super soft, fresh and served warm) and 2€ for the mojos. We spoke to Andrés after the meal and he explained that many times thickeners and/or cheese or dairy are added to make it more thick, but his are all vegan, natural and homemade for an authentic flavor.

This amazing family restaurant is not shy about sharing that they have typical Canarian food with vegan options. This is home-cooked, comfort food at it best. The service is friendly, the menu clearly marked with several dishes with vegan options. Vilaflor is a pretty little town, one of the highest in altitude in Spain continuously inhabited since the 1500s - well worth a visit and a meal at this super-vegan-friendly locale!
