Warung Ijo has vacated their beach road location and moved to Macpherson. Though the

venue has changed the standard of food hasn’t. This vegan fish curry tasted so good. The santan was super lemak and the soy fish had a lovely texture. #hailsantan #indonesian #curry #vegancurry #coconutmilk

Honestly had such delicious food at Warung Ijo today! The staff is also super friendly

and welcoming which is a total plus 🤗🤗 would definitely come again!!

Gulai Fish was delicious!! It was sweet which i was not expecting but it was surprisingly pleasant!

I like the curry soup! Can just pour this over white rice and still be

satisfied over the meal. The fish was alright. Could have more veg though!

This was pretty good, the #curry more sweet than #spicy but that’s to be expected

for #gulai, a pretty broad term for a whole span of dishes 🌶 You can already tell from its bright amber glow that it’s a soupy coconut flavour that will greet your tongue and press out the #fish as you bite into every piece. #veganfish is an established foothold and this was just as strong, no qualms over flavour there. This was a great meal 😋

Gulai is an Indonesian style curry gravy. The “fish” was made with seaweed on the

outside and nicely grilled. Went well with the gulai and some rice. My non-veg partner loved it too and hardly left any for me. #warungijo #veganisnotscary

to try for so long but im always dining here alone.
So this time i came with friends and we all got to try all the dishes on our list!

This is so good!! The gravy is creamy but not too much,spicy at a just nice level,a really well balanced taste. The beancurd skin as the ‘fish’ is perfectly cooked,even to the ‘flakiness’ of the fish meat so the whole #mockfish taste is quite a winner!
Comes with sm brinjal n long beans.

We managed to try all the dishes we been wanting to try.
Ths is one of my top 3!

A little spicy with a thick curry-like sauce. I can’t get enough of the gravy and it goes just so perfectly with lemak rice 🍚 Warung Ijo never disappoints! #veganfish

Coconut based gravy with seaweed and soy based mock fish, long beans and eggplant. The

gravy had just the right consistency and spice level and they were really generous with the amount of ‘fish’ and vegetables too! At first I thought it was quite pricy for what is quite a humble homely dish, but for the portion size that can easily feed 3-4 people, I’d say it’s justified. Would recommend this as an accompaniment to rice 😋
