I found this algae based omega-3 supplement on Amazon. It seemed to be the best
value for vegan DHA compared to what else was available. 60 capsules and each capsule has 440mg DHA which was quite a bit more than most of the other brands No weird smell or taste unless you bite into it- then you unleash the ocean! Lol. I'm still not sure how necessary it is to supplement omega-3s and the more I try to learn the more confused I get. But it seems to have more pros than cons, particularly for cognitive health. Plant foods generally don't contain the DHA or EPA forms of omega-3 and our ability to convert from ALA to DHA and EPA is highly variable, which is why I started to take the algae based supplement.
