Look at what made a comeback in South Africa! 🤩 It’s the Fry’s Pops (now
Popcorn 🍿) but better than I remember and minus the fruit chutney sprinkles. The batter is really nice, it has a very slight crunch to it, while also still being soft, if that makes any sense 🤪 seasoned well, it is on the saltier side and there’s also quite a bit of pepper coming through.
They recommend deep frying it for the best results, but I airfryed everything and it turned out great. I haven’t had KFC in over a decade, but I used to be a big sprinkle pops fan until I couldn’t participate in that cruelty any longer. If you were a sprinkle pops fan too, I definitely recommend this, it resembles it quite a bit, but thankfully is void of the cruelty.
💰: R70 (I think it’s very pricey for the amount that you get, based on this alone, I’m not sure I will buy this again very soon but I’m sure I will buy it again in the distant future).
