Amazingly decadent #darkchocolate with carmelized #cocoanibs and flower of #seasalt from the Ebro Delta in
Catalunya. The chocolate is intense but not overpowering, and the crunch of the nibs adds a nice texture. The little pops of sea salt provide a wonderful contrast and pump up the flavor! This is not the cheapest chocolate by far - 2,50€ for 40g - but their philosophy makes it worth it. More than half their products are vegan, let's hope one day soon they expand their social commitment to include a cruelty-free product line without dairy (I will be poking them on this!).
The Pancracio company website details their commitment to training and job placement for immigrant women, responsibly sourced chocolate and fair wages and conditions of those that grow and harvest the cocoa beans.
