Review of 2 vegetarian Country pies - Linda McCartney's by knorthway

While visiting Iceland & England this past fall, I was very excited to see Linda McCartney’s many products in almost every grocery store I popped into. I don’t believe any of these products are available in the US, or at least not that I’ve ever seen, so I seized on this opportunity to try a couple items.

These vegetarian pies are #vegan even though they’re labeled as vegetarian. They were tasty and perfect to eat on a chilly Iceland evening. Though they are a little small so you may need to prepare a side dish or eat some dessert afterwards.

After looking closer at the ingredients, it seems these pies are lacking unprocessed vegetables, even using potato flakes instead of potatoes. These unfortunately also contain #palmoil , and there isn’t any note on the packaging ensuring it has been sustainably sourced.
I likely wouldn’t buy these all the time if available where I live, but being a huge fan of Linda and the Beatles, I had to try these while I could.
