thebeast Aww, thank you!! Poppy was such a sweetheart. Funny story, our girl Dot was several months younger than her when we introduced them (since the girl we originally got with Poppy tragically passed away suddenly, it's a long story but they're just so fragile). We were worried Poppy would overpower Dot since she was just a baby but actually Poppy let the baby boss her around haha She was just too sweet and not dominating at all. It's normally quite a journey introducing a new rat but this was no problem at all because Poppy was just such a gentle, well-natured rat. 🥺❤2 likesReply

unejanie i have never heard of molokhia leaves. your dish looks so good! i am one of those people that can taste one cilantro/coriander leaf in a dish and not be able to eat it. just the smell is overpowering to me. 1 likeReply
thebeast Thank you!! 😄 Yeah, I'm the exact same! If there's a bit of fresh coriander in a dish, I refuse to eat it lol But with this, it's sautéd with 12 gloves of crushed garlic and then the molokhia leaves, then boiled with broth and other ingredients, so the taste is greatly reduced and smell is gone. So, I was able to enjoy it. But I only did 1 bunch with stems removed, instead of 2. I was too scared to do 2 haha 😅 And the dried coriander leaves have none of that pungent smell or taste, so they're good! 1 likeReply

thebeast Yeah, it's just the tapioca beads and water reduced on the stove actually, the photo is misleading 😁 There's a flavour packet you add at the end and that's what gives it the colour and flavour. ☺ It is very interesting, I'd never had it before! Thank you! 🤗 It did turn out very juicy, the beads were coated quite thickly in the evaporated water and tapioca mixture. It was really nice!1 likeReply

Really didn't like the taste of these, to be honest. It just had a weird after-taste, the carrot and coconut oil didn't go together well, in my opinion. They were also floppy and chewy lol
