This would be a great way to start savouring all the vegan options that Empress

offers. They condensed their vegan options and made great combined dishes. The soup pictured combined their impossible gyoza, steamed truffle mushroom dumpling and a corn soup. Very hearty, cohesive and well balanced. The second dish was the main (only one option) and it comprised of the Heng Hwa style noodle, French beans and a sweet sour pork ball. The Heng Hwa style noodle has a great depth of flavour from the yam and cabbage. The French beans were flavourful but the sweet sour pork balls were a little disappointing but in sauce aspect. The dessert was great as usual. Worth a visit again!

An absolute delight dining at Empress. This was a 3 course lunch set. Excellent way

to taste the highlights of the vegan options at Empress. Well curated and amazing flavours. My favourite was the appetiser platter (first photo). Will definitely be back.

Was there to celebrate a friend’s birthday and they gave a complimentary dessert that was vegan as well!

I seriously can’t get enough of the vegan options at Empress here in Singapore. This

was my first time getting the new vegan lunch prix-fixe and it was fantastic!

It’s $38 but super value considering everything you get.

The starter is a spinach and corn soup with a dumpling and a pan-fried #impossible gyoza. The soup is amazing and the gyoza always blows away my carnivore friends.

Followed by #omnipork balls and fine noodles and veggies with fried tofu patties.

And ending with my favorite dessert in Singapore!

mains: oMg okay part of the set meal and damn this was so good. the

sweet and sour meat balls were a little bit too sweet for my liking though, but the meatballs were tender and had a very nice bite to it, plus i liked how the outsides were cronchy hehe. also appreciated the tiny lychee!! the black pepper impossible meat balls WERE AMAZING like holy shit it tasted so much like a legit meat ball? and a really good meat ball too. my sister was amazed HAHA and the black pepper sauce was really flavourful too, with a strong black pepper fragrance. also had youtiao and potato inside i think? kinda weird pairing but i didn’t mind it. my favourite would be the crispy battered tofu with wood-eared fungus omg,,,,,, the batter on the outside was so crunchy and the tofu was so flakey, and had a tinge of the flavour of the sea~ mum and sister also really liked this! the beansprouts and black fungus that came with it was a bit lackluster though but eh the tofu was so good, i’ll order this on its own if i came back hehe

appetizer platter: first choice on the plant powered set meal for $38/person!! omg okay this

was quite good!! I really liked the crispy eggplant with the floss like the eggplants were so SOFT and felt like i was eating a fluffy bread? kinda weird HAHA but it wasnt too oily and the soy floss was really nice too :D the broccolini was quite disappointing tho bc it came cold and was just kinda meh. the mushroom and corn dumpling was pretty enjoyable, the skin was really nice and chewy, but tbh the fillings weren’t super memorable. the sichuan meat dumpling was good!!!!!! reminded me of har gow with the chewy filling :D the skin was also so and silky mmm really nice!

Love the bite-sized platter! This is the starter of their 3-course “plant power set lunch”.

Steamed mushroom & corn dumpling, crispy eggplant with mushroom soy gloss, wok-charred broccoli & broccolini salad, Sichuan omnipork & cabbage steamed dumpling. $38++

enjoyed being able to try a variety of empress’ plant-based dishes and it was pretty

good value for what we got. my fave was the sweet and sour ‘pork’ and the dimsum.

Vegan dim sum options are so limited in Singapore, so thankful for Empress for constantly

innovating and expanding the range for us 😭

Really amazing combo of dim sum with both vegetable based dishes as well as mock

meat dishes. Fantastic taste and good value.

I thoroughly enjoyed the dish because each appetizer has a unique texture, crispy, sticky, slimy

and broccoli! Omazing
